Bolita Big Band

One of the most relevant flamenco guitar players goes big band.

José Quevedo Bolita has a unique voice in flamenco. Since a young age he has accompained some of the most important flamenco danders (Joaquin Grilo, Manuela Carrasco, La Yerbabuena, Antonio Canales, Sara Baras, Rafael de Carmen, Belén Fernández, la Tati, Beatriz Martín, Javier Barón, Juan Ramírez) and singers (El Indio Gitano, Ramón El Portugués, Esperanza Fernandez, El Pele, Arcángel, Miguel Poveda, Marina Heredia, Carmen Linares, Capullo de Jerez).

In his latest project Bolita has composed a repertoire for big band, arranged by the pianist José Carra. The special rythm section in this flamenco big band (guitar, double bass, percussion and two palmeros) mixed with the singer Miguel Ángel Soto Peña "Londro" and an eight piece brass section makes of this concert a very powerfull flamenco experience.
